Ready for the decorating of Easter eggs or munching on jelly beans from your Easter basket?  Maybe you prefer gathering with family on the big day called Easter. 

Easter is certainly a popular holiday, but it is also an incredibly important time for Christians and also the holy days leading up to it.  The week before Easter is Holy Week which starts with Palm Sunday and also includes Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. But before all that, there is the period known as Lent.  

What is Lent?  It is a solemn season focused on faith and sacrifice.  However, most Christians recognize there is so much more to know about its history, symbolism and rules.

Won't you join us as we approach Easter with its incredible religious significance......and

remembered traditions.
